Educational Enhancement

With a goal of $500,000, Mount Aloysius generated more than $3.2 million dollars. The College was awarded more than fifty grants throughout the Campaign with the largest of those being a $1.7 million dollar Title III grant.

Many full-time faculty have laptop computers to enhance the student's learning experience, the campus is 100% wireless, and a large number of smart classrooms have been installed throughout campus.

The Sony Virtuoso American Sign Language Learning System for the Sign Language/Interpreter Education program was implemented to provide students the ability to communicate with their professor and other students in the class using video windows that appear on their computers.

Every division has benefited from these grants to provide a broader base in which to do research projects and educate students.
