Academic Counseling

The Act 101 Program provides a full-time Academic Counselor who maintains contact with Act 101 students throughout the year. The Academic Counselor is prepared to work closely with students on academic or personal concerns. Referrals are made as necessary to other campus services.

Study Skills

A Professional Tutor/Writing Specialist is available to work one-on-one with Act 101 students as a way of supplementing the assistance provided by peer tutors and group workshops. 

Act 101 students receive one-on-one attention, assistance with any writing assignment, help with time management, study strategies, test-taking, and note-taking skills. Students are also invited to the group workshops conducted for all Mount Aloysius' students.
