Student Feedback

The following feedback is from the students who have completed MAAPP.

What I enjoyed most about the program was:

• being able to get a head start on college.

• getting to know my way around the campus and meeting teachers and other students.

• being here all week early and knowing I'm ahead of the game.

The most important thing I learned from my participation in MAAPP was:

• how to use Blackboard and Campus Web.

• time management.

• that I can do this, I am meant to be here..

• good studying habits.

• college is way different than high school.

• that college is going to be challenging.

• how to be organized and get my work done.

If one thing could be improved for next year's program it would be:

• nothing. I liked everything.

• no math...lol...jk...I think every part was needed, such a great program.

• nothing, it was all worth it. I feel like I accomplished something.

• nothing. I feel the program is great the way it is because it needs to be a wake up call. Now I can't wait until the first day of class.

How did the upper class mentors assist you during the week? Where they a valuable resource to you?

• They gave me a lot of advice. They were very valuable.

• They helped me a lot with my weak subjects.

• They were extremely helpful whenever we needed them.

• Yeah! They helped me to learn how to do PowerPoint.

• They helped me with EVERYTHING! Yes!

• They were there to help me with everything I needed and they were GREAT!

• They helped with every question. They were very helpful.
