Student Classification - Undergraduate

Matriculating Student
A matriculating student is a student who has been admitted on a full or part-time basis into a curriculum leading to a Bachelor degree or an Associate degree.

Full-Time Student
Any student carrying 12 or more credits of course work per semester is a full-time student.

Part-Time Student
Any student carrying fewer than 12 credits of course work per semester is a parttime student.

Freshman
Any student who has earned 0-29 credits.

Sophomore
Any student who has earned 30-59 credits.

Junior
Any student who has earned 60-89 credits.

Senior
Any student who has earned 90 or more credits.
