Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith took over the reigns of the Mount Aloysius athletic department in July of 2008.

Smith previously worked at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he served in the capacity of assistant athletic director for the past two years, overseeing I.U.P.'s compliance and athletic fundraising responsibilities.  He was also in charge of chairing the search committees for all athletic department coaching positions.

Prior to that, Smith spent ten years as I.U.P.'s Director of Intramurals, Recreation, and Club Sports.

He graduated from I.U.P., and also holds a masters degree from Slippery Rock University in Athletic Administration and Sports Management.

Smith is a member of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA), and is a past officer of the Pennsylvania Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (PIRSA).

Though originally from Portage, PA, he currently resides in Ebensburg, PA with his wife Nichelle, daughters Olivia (4) and Paris (1), and son Maddox (2).
