Head Coach
Carl Teeter

carl teeter headshotCarl Teeter took over the reigns of the Lady Mounties softball program in 2008. In his first two seasons he has a record of 44-31.  In 2009, he was named as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), Co-Coach of the Year.  Last season he took the Lady Mounties to the AMCC conference tournament where they finished in 3rd place. 

For the previous six years, Teeter coached the Tri-County Thunder Junior Olympic girls fast pitch softball team.

Teeter was a former standout athlete at Greater Johnstown High School, where he was a four-year letter winner in varsity baseball. He also played for Alberters in the Johnstown Junior League. Teeter is still an active player on the local organized softball scene.

He is a firm believer in fundamentals, and believes: "That if the fundamentals are there...then the rest of the skills come more easily."

Teeter resides in nearby Johnstown, PA with his wife Claudine and daughters Alexandria and Gabrielle. He is also employed as an electrician for the Greater Johnstown School District.

Richard Bicko

Rick Bicko joined the Lady Mounties staff in 2008.  He is an experienced coach, who coached alongside Teeter with the Tri-County Thunder Junior Olympic girls fast pitch softball team.  He has also previously coached little league baseball and softball for numerous years in the Greater Johnstown Youth League.

Bicko was a three-year letter winner in baseball for Johnstown Vo-Tech. He additionally played in the Johnstown Junior League for Dr. Walker's for two years and in the AAABA tournament.

Bicko resides in Johnstown with his wife and two daughters. He is also employed in the Allied Health Division at the Hiram G. Andrews Center.

Mark Seasoltz

Coach Seasoltzs enters his first year with the Mounties as the pitching and catching coach.

Seasoltz is no stranger to softball, he has coached 23 travel softball and high school for many years and will aide in the players development.

"Adding Mark to the coaching staff was an easy decision, with his experience and knowledge of the game it will definitely benefit our team for sure." added Coach Teeter. "Coach Seasoltz knows a great deal about pitching and the players have responded to his ideas right off the bat."

Justin Smithmyer09-10 Sb Coach Smithmyer

Coach Smithmyer enters his second year with the softball program.

In 2010 Justin will take on the responsibilities of charting pitchers and hitters.

"Justin is a guy that is always at the field and willing to help out in any shape or form. In 2009 he took great care of our field on game day and by adding him to our staff really opens more doors for Coach Teeter and myself."added Coach Bicko.
