Mary Cypher Madden Scholarships

Mount Aloysius College offers special scholarships to qualified seniors from Catholic High Schools. Each scholarship has a total value of $5,300.

Students who receive this scholarship are also eligible to receive a renewable Mount Aloysius Merit Scholarship, valued at $5,000 annually.

This scholarship is renewable each year as long as a 3.0 cumulative grade point average is maintained.

Scholarship Criteria:

• Current high school senior
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Minimum SAT score of 1000 old scale/1500 new SAT
• Apply and be accepted to Mount Aloysius College by March 1 (for the upcoming Fall semester)
• Apply for federal and state grants (using Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
• Download and complete the Mount Aloysius College Mary Cypher Madden Scholarship Application and submit it to the Financial Aid Office by May 3.
• Must provide evidence of service and leadership during high school
• Preference given to students enrolling in a 4 year baccalaureate program
